Before buying or selling a used smart device, it is certainly wise to be able to check some basic electronic functions of a used device.
The Kine Tik+ app is a simple utility that allows you to visualize the operation of basic electronic sensors such as X Y Z accelerometers, X Y Z gyroscopes, X Y Z magnetometers, barometer and GPS. The Kine Tik+ app also allows you to view all screen pixels in black and white, or in color, and listen to sounds of different frequencies on left and right speakers.
The Kine Tik+ app allows you to memorize the maximums reached by the sensors, and apply an average of the values received. The Kine Tik+ app can also calculate barometric pressure at sea level (MSL, Mean Sea Level), vertically to the GPS location, anywhere on Earth, without the need for an internet connection.
The MSL pressure can be relatively well assessed and calculated, with the contribution of the temperature (estimated at sea level). Another very important factor in calculating MSL pressure is the accuracy of the barometer which tends to decrease slightly over time.
The Kine Tik+ app allows you to calibrate the barometer. Obviously, this requires access to a relatively reliable reference. The displayed pressure from another iPhone / iPad that has recently been calibrated, or on a newer device, can be used to check the accuracy and calibrate the barometer of an iPhone or an iPad.
